The first commercial deployment of Amonix HCPV technology incorporating high-efficiency multijunction solar cells, this installation at the River Mountains Water Treatment Facility was built to have minimal impact on the desert environment, enabled in part by the systems’ pedestal mount. Together the six HCPV systems make a strong visible statement about SNWA’s commitment to providing clean water to the residents of Las Vegas Valley by using renewable energy.
