Founded in 1989, Amonix installed its first high concentration photovoltaic (HCPV) systems in 1994. To date nearly 13 MW of systems based on Amonix HCPV technology have been deployed globally, some of which have been in continuous operation in utility environments since 2000. This rigorous field testing in real world conditions has hardened the company proprietary HCPV systems and proven their reliability. Today Amonix HCPV systems continue to generate gigawatt-hours (GWh) of non-polluting solar-generated electricity at competitive cost.
