Can I use an Amonix System on my roof?

The Amonix system is not designed to be roof mounted. The system weighs approximately 20 tons and can only be installed at ground level.

How much do Amonix systems cost?

There is no general answer to this question. The Amonix system price includes installation and the installation price varies depending on where the system is installed. To obtain a quotation for an Amonix system this needs to be done on an individual basis. Please contact us for further information.

Where do Amonix systems work best?

The Amonix systems work best in areas of high direct normal insolation (DNI). In addition, our systems like arid areas such as the desert. The systems will work anywhere there is sunlight but performance will be best in regions where the air is dry and the direct sunlight is abundant. see graph

How much electricity will I generate?

Our general “rule of thumb” is approximately 50,000 kWh for a 25kW system, depending upon the  location where the system is installed.

What maintenance is required for an Amonix system?

Even though the Amonix system has moving parts minimal maintenance is required. The usual maintenance regime includes maintaining the hydraulics and intermittent washing of the lens.

Does the Amonix system require cooling?

The system is designed in such a manner that the use of any ancillary cooling systems such as fans or water is not required.
