IT Specialist

Summary
As our IT Specialist you will be involved in all facets of our business and our incredible growth plans. The IT challenges you will face at Amonix will be diverse. Responsibilities will range from software and hardware selection, implementation and maintenance to direct support of all functional areas (engineering, production, sales, accounting, administration, etc.) for our multiple locations.

You will have the unique opportunity to be involved in the creation and implementation of almost every IT system at Amonix.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Support the deployment, monitoring, maintenance, development and upgrading of all IT systems, including servers, PCs, hardware, software, and peripherals
- Research potential technology solutions in support of our growth efforts
- Support efforts to develop and implement all IT policies and procedures, including those for architecture, security, disaster recovery, standards, purchasing, and service provision
- Assist in asset management for IT hardware and software

Education, Competencies and Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or Associates Degree in Computer Science or a related field
- 2 to 5 years experience in a similar IT support role
- Experience trouble-shooting a variety of software and hardware systems
- Thorough understanding of PC configuration, set-up, maintenance and user support functions
- Excellent interpersonal and communications skills
- Familiarity with industry standard OS, MRP/ERP, CRM, Accounting, Database and Engineering applications
- Legal authorization to work in the US
